Meet at 9:45 am at the back of the parking lot of the Eldorado West Diner to discover sweeping views of the Hudson River and New York City from the trail.

Address: 460 South Broadway, Tarrytown (taxi from Metro-North Tarrytown Train Station, 9:10 am northbound train). Route includes obscure entries to several paths, not all on the Aqueduct. About 3-4 miles, mostly level, with one section of walking on streets. Information: 914-478-3961.

Meet at 10 am in the north parking lot of Sleepy Hollow High School for a 5 mile ramble through an area rich in history.

As part of the Ossining Village Fair, descend into original 1842 brick water tunnel and learn its history. Tours between 10:30 am and 2:30 pm.
