As part of Open House New York, The Friends will again lead walks along the route of the Aqueduct in the Bronx (Sat) and Manhattan (Sun.) Guides will talk about the Aqueduct and point out historical sites of interest along the way.

A walk for the Croton Free Library on Sunday, October 18 at 2 pm......meeting at the Croton Free Library on Cleveland Drive.....(271-6612)........will be a walk on the Aqueduct and include the history of the city water supply from colonial period to roughly 1910.....with heavy emphasis on building of the New Croton Dam.

Friends of the Old Croton Aqueduct invite you to an unveiling of new interpretive signs on the Aqueduct Trail in Yonkers. The event honors Assemblyman Mike Spano and Groundwork Hudson Valley for their dedication to Old Croton Aqueduct State Park.
Meeting place: Old Croton Aqueduct at Lamartine Ave -- between Warburton Ave and North Broadway.
